Knitting Without a Net - A Freeform Knitting Course, Acorn Street Shop, Seattle

In my life I've worn lots of hats. My current hat and the one that has been my favorite over the past 40+ years, is that of fiber artist with a focus on knitting primarily using Icelandic wool.

I am currently designing and making a collection of textiles inspired by Icelandic and Nordic landscapes. My knitting style is free-form. Using both photographs and videos, I work without a pattern to create pieces that can be either mounted and admired or worn and treasured.
