Leslie Anne Meyer
Jamieson & Smith
Lerwick, Shetland, 2018
I was born in the PNW. Growing up here, we had many rainy days that were perfect for staying inside and getting creative. I have always liked to make things, whether it was sock puppets when I was a kid or complicated sweaters as an adult. I love keeping my hands busy. Knitting, needle felting and making the occasional quilt are the things that fulfill me as an artist. Come find me on Instagram!
When I am not knitting, I work as a genealogist and historical research assistant for authors and individuals. I hold a master’s degree in Library and Information Science, as well as a certificate in Genealogical Research from Boston University. My current research involves an anonymous 1897 Yukon Gold Rush diary and my search to discover the author.
I've traveled to Iceland, England, Scotland, The Netherlands, Italy, Ghana, and Canada. I have had the pleasure of visiting libraries, archives and artisans everywhere I’ve been. Check out my LinkedIn page to see what else I’ve been up to.
