When I saw Swiss photographer Stefan Forster’s film, “Svalbard - The Arctic from Above”, I immediately sat down and created swatches for pieces based on his imagery. He has graciously given me permission to use his work as inspiration.

To date, I have created two pieces based on this film: Svalbard I depicts white ice breaking up in the black waters along the coastline. Svalbard II was inspired by turquoise glacial lakes glittering in a field of white.
