The yarn for this, and for many of my pieces, comes from Hespa. Owner Guðrún Bjarnadóttir hand-selects the Icelandic wool and gathers the native plants to create the dyes in her studio in southern Iceland.

Guðrún’s palate perfectly reflects the colors of the Icelandic landscape.
